Casual Friday Donations to Alzheimer’s Association

Casual Friday Donations for Alzheimer's AssociationI work for a great company that has a “Casual Friday” policy. Every Friday for a minimum $5 donation, employees may wear jeans, shorts, t-shirts, or whatever casual attire deemed appropriate for work. The money collected each Friday is then donated to various nonprofit charities that are determined throughout the year.

Last Friday’s donations went to the Greater Illinois Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, and  I was responsible for adding this association to the list of Casual Friday recipients! It feels wonderful to help with the Alzheimer’s Association’s mission to create a world without Alzheimer’s disease, even in such a small way.

How about you? Have you been responsible for raising funds for a worthy charitable organization? Doesn’t it just feel great to help out sometimes?
